A better dental visit, in their words

What patients say about a visit.

  • “I was nervous about the first visit. My dentist showed me the X-rays on the screen and went through my options before anyone picked up an instrument.”

    Lexi R.New patient
  • “The front desk checked my benefits before I came in, so the estimate matched what I was told. Nothing was a surprise at the counter.”

    Arnetta W.Patient
  • “Our whole family goes here. We book back to back so everyone is done in one trip, and the kids get a dentist who talks to them like people.”

    Tadeo V.Parent
  • “They asked how I wanted to handle the numbing and stopped as soon as I raised my hand. I'd go back for that alone.”

    Mikael S.Patient
  • “Early appointments let me come in before work. The hygienist explained why I needed a deeper cleaning and what it involved.”

    Dana L.Patient
  • “I'd put off the dentist for years. Nobody made me feel behind. We made a plan and my dentist wrote it down.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Straightforward answers to common questions about our treatments, scheduling, and what to expect during your visits.

How often should I come in for a checkup?

Your dentist decides how often you need an exam, a cleaning and X-rays, based on your health and your history. Many patients come every six months, and some need a different schedule.

What happens during my first appointment?

Your first visit includes an exam, X-rays when your dentist decides you need them, and a talk about your goals and concerns. You leave with a written plan and estimate for any treatment, and time to ask questions.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

Call us. We hold time for urgent cases when we can, and we'll tell you what we can do today and what can wait. Trouble breathing or swallowing, bleeding that won't stop, or swelling that spreads to your face or neck is an emergency: call 911.

Will it hurt?

We numb the area before we start, and you can raise your hand for a break at any point. Most people feel pressure rather than pain. Tell us what you feel and we adjust.

Do you work with children and families?

Yes. Our practice welcomes patients of all ages, and a child's first visit can be short and mostly a tour.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill most PPO dental plans and file the claim for you, and we check your benefits before your first visit. Whether we are in network depends on your plan, so call us and we'll tell you before you book.
